Group Exhibit
February 20 – April 20, 2015
Curator: Shira Friedman
The image of Queen Vashti stands at the heart of this exhibition. In the Book of Esther, Vashti's story appears in concise form. The art in the exhibition expands the story and in fact creates a new chapter about Vashti, her punishment, and her place in feminist thought and contemporary art.
