Art Exhibition by Ayelet Carmi & Meirav Heiman
Curator: Shira Friedman
April 13 to August 3, 2018
The exhibition relates to the counting of the Omer and connects it to the feminine experience. Artists Ayelet Carmi and Meirav Heiman were invited to create a new exhibition on the motif of the counting and the feminine experience at the Schechter Gallery.
The exhibition features original video works, stained glass works, and paintings that together create a chorus of counting women. This exhibition examines the counting of the Omer from a gender perspective and critiques the voices that are increasingly heard in Israel and abroad calling into question the achievements of the feminist movement.
Opening hours: Sundays to Thursdays 9 am to 5 pm, Fridays 11 am to 1:30 pm
