Exhibit by Gary Goldstein | Curated by Shira Friedman

The exhibit presents four new series of drawings completed over the last three years. It is interspersed with sound pieces by Eti ben-Zaken. Goldstein’s new works inspires wonder; they are surprising and unexpected. They are a departure from Goldstein’s distinct style – drawings with markers, dots and lines that are reminiscent of comics.

Or, Teva, Ir (Light, Nature, City) // Tu Bishvat Exhibition
February 10–24, 2020

This is the sixth annual photography exhibit by students in the arts track at the special needs high school in Neve Zedek. The students work focuses on urban nature. Befitting an exhibition that marks the birthday of trees, the artworks are the ‘fruits’ of a project that involved learning, practical skills, friendship and persistence. They emphasize the visual language that brought the artist-participants together around three ideas central to nature and landscape: light, nature and city.
